Sometimes when we feel alone, we are closer to God. As sure as rain falls, we marvel at just how tender we really are. As water nourishes the flowers around us, our tears nourish our souls.
When you hurt, cry. When you pray, cry. Your tears are incense carried by angels up to heaven, watering the flowers that grow in God's garden—the garden tended by our loved ones who wait for us to be reunited once more.
And when that day comes and we close our eyes on this Earth one final time, we open them to reveal the beautiful flowers we have nourished with our tears and prayers alone. Your tears are lágrimas de flor.
